When using Enolytics for the first time or when using a Chrome Browser for the first time or with a new profile, you may get the message "You are unable to access item due to browser privacy setting. Try to grant storage access".

This is because Enolytics relies on cookies for security. Chrome can be configured in a way that does not allow for cookies and therefore will trigger this error.

In the Chrome Address Bar, click on the icon to the left of "https://my.enolytics.com"

The icon looks like this

Click on 'Cookies and Site Data' and then on 'Settings'.

You should see something similar to this

or you may see

Enable 'Third-party cookies' and reload Enolytics.

There are 2 solutions:

Solution 1:

Quick Fix: Select "Allow third-party cookies' and reload Enolytics. You should be fine.

Solution 2:

If you do not want to enable third-party cookies for every application.

Keep 'Block third-party cookies'. At the bottom of the settings, you have the option to add sites that are allowed to use third-party cookies.

Click on 'Add' and enter 'my.enolytics.com'. Click on 'Add' to confirm.

Reload Enolytics. You should be fine.
